MEET DESTINY

I’ve had a love of photography since I can remember… I enjoy the photography process from start to finish ~ from capturing special moments in time to editing the final product. My husband and I live in Middleton, WI and we have twin boys that keep us very busy! Things that make me happy in no particular order: coffee, sunshine, adventuring with my family, cocktails with friends, watching our kids sporting events, our chocolate lab Sadie, and netflix on the couch.

My photography journey began when I was pregnant with our twin boys & I purchased my first big girl camera. Once they were born, I played around taking photos of them as babies and then I found myself taking photos of our friends’ kiddos. I really loved it and I loved creating and capturing these special moments! I am almost completely self taught and built my photography business primarily through word of mouth referrals. For several years I grew my photography business while still working full time in the broadcast weather industry. I worked as a software trainer and customer service manager for The Weather Company for 16 years before I left in 2017 to focus solely on my photography career. Since I started my business in 2014, I have photographed hundreds of families - many of whom come back year after year. Along the way, I also realized I love helping other photographers succeed! I love being their cheerleader and hype girl. Thus came about my new business venture - mentoring and e-learning for photographers. I want to spread my knowledge and help others reach their full potential as photographers and business owners!
