MEET DESTINY

Hello! I’m Destiny, a wedding and family photographer based out of Madison, WI.

I’ve had a love of photography since I can remember and I thrive off capturing the joyful moments in my couples’ love story or sweet moments with my family clients. PS. many of my wedding clients have turned into family clients over time… just sayin - life is full circle and I’m here for it all!

My husband and I have twin teenage boys that keep us very busy! Youth sports runs our calendars. IYKYK. Things that make me happy in no particular order: coffee, sunshine, adventuring with my family, cocktails with friends, watching our kids sporting events, our chocolate lab Sadie, and netflix on the couch.

My photography journey began when I was pregnant with our twin boys & I purchased my first big girl camera. Once they were born, I played around taking photos of them as babies and then I found myself taking photos of our friends’ kiddos. I really loved it and I loved creating and capturing these special moments! For several years I grew my photography business while still working full time in the broadcast weather industry. I worked as a software trainer and customer service manager for The Weather Company for 16 years before I left in 2017 to focus solely on my photography career. Since I started my business in 2014, I have photographed dozens of weddings and hundreds of families - many of whom come back year after year. Along the way, I also realized I love helping other photographers succeed! I love being their cheerleader and hype girl. Thus came about my photography education branch - mentoring and workshops for family photographers. I want to spread my knowledge and help others reach their full potential as photographers and business owners!
